What Is the Fallout TV Show About?

Will There Be a Fallout 5?

There hasn't been a new Fallout game since 2015 and given Bethesda just released Starfield and is currently working on The Elder Scrolls 6, we likely shouldn't expect a new one anytime soon. However, Bethesda has put fans at ease by promising Fallout 5. It might not happen until the 2030s, but it will happen. If we're lucky, maybe Bethesda and Microsoft will work with another team to produce a spin-off game like Fallout: New Vegas to ensure the IP doesn't go close to 20 years without a brand new game.

During a conversation at CCXP, Fallout's co-showrunner Graham Wagner opened up about the TV adaptation and what it has been like to develop. Although stressing that he didn't want to share too much about the show and its story, Wagner said that those helming the project intentionally tried to distance it from the timelines seen in the Fallout games. To help with this, Wagner said that they tried to look at the show as Fallout 5 rather than a typical video game adaptation.

"We didn't start from a place of characters from the games. We set things after," Wagner said. "We kind of told ourselves, 'This is Fallout 5, this is just another installation, and we're starting with fresh snow.' But as things go on, things go on. So yeah, again, I am really desperate not to spoil stuff, leave it at that I guess."

If you're a fan of the 1991 V4 Snake Eyes, then this new Threezero G.I. Joe FigZero release is going to be hard to resist. Granted, the outfit on this figure doesn't have the exact same color scheme as the original, but it looks amazing regardless. Plus, it's a 1/6 scale figure (12-inch) that comes decked out with a ton of accessories. Now we just have to wait and see what Hasbro does with V4 Snake Eyes when it inevitably joins their Classified lineup.

Hasbro has revealed that a Star Wars The Black Series Nite Owl figure inspired by the character that appeared in season 3 of The Mandalorian will launch as a Walmart Collector Con exclusive on March 14 at 7am PT / 10am ET. At the time of writing, we also expect that the Black Series R4-6D0 announced last October during Hasbro's 10/27 and MCM London Comic Con events will be among the Star Wars exclusives reserved for the upcoming Collector Con.

The Star Wars The Black Series Nite Owl and R4-6D0 figures will be available to order here at the Walmart Collector Shop after the launch time on March 14th priced at $24.99 each. Look for additional exclusives from Hasbro's Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Marvel Legends lineups to debut at the event. A preview of what will be up for grabs is set to be revealed via the Collector Shop link on March 7th.

A Mandalorian & Grogu Movie Is On The Way

Disney and Lucasfilm recently announced The Mandalorian & Grogu, a new Star Wars movie bringing Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin and his Mandalorian apprentice to the big screen with director Jon Favreau. The Mando movie will begin production this year and is further along than Dave Filoni's untitled New Republic movie and James Mangold's Dawn of the Jedi movie announced at Star Wars Celebration 2023. A Rey Skywalker movie is also in the works, that is being touted as having "a different direction":

"So I thought about it for a little bit and once I knew what the story was and everything, I knew it was something I really wanted to do," Ridley revealed to AlloCin?. "I think it's a really fantastic exploration of the Star Wars world. It's a really cool way of taking the story on in a bit of a different direction."

"That was actually quite last minute. I was actually making my own film last year and Kathy Kennedy said she wanted to have breakfast," Ridley detailed. "And I thought we were just having breakfast, so I was literally eating my breakfast, and she said, 'Oh, we might do another one.' I was like, '...Okay.'"

The classic HeroQuest board game was released in 1989 by Milton Bradley, earning a cult status in the years that followed. Now owned by Hasbro / Avalon Hill, a new version of the game made a triumphant return with a wildly successful Haslab croundfunding campaign and a retail release in 2021 that included Kellar's Keep and Return of the Witch Lord expansion packs. That was followed by The Frozen Horror expansion, a Rogue Heir of Elethorn character collection, The Mage of the Mirror expansion, the first new-to-retail expansion Rise of the Dread Moon, and Path of the Wandering Monk, Prophecy of Telor, and Spirit Queen's Torment expansions. Today the lineup grows even bigger with the highly anticipated, updated version of the Against the Ogre Horde Quest Pack.

The HeroQuest Against the Ogre Horde expansion is a re-release of the original with updated classic quests, 3 new quests, and tournament gameplay that ties it into the previously released Path of the Wandering Monk pack (details below). All-in-all, it includes 10 quests, 28 updated miniatures, 29 game cards, and 29 full-color cardboard tiles. Needless to say, this is a pretty exciting release. HeroQuest Path of the Wandering Monk introduces male and female Monk hero options to the game with 2 miniatures, a scroll, and 7 game cards, including 4 double-sided ability cards with Elemental Style combat techniques based on the elements of Wind, Earth, Water, and Fire. The scroll also mentions The World's End Tournament seeking warriors to "heed the call & test your mettle for glory and gold". You can order Path of the Wandering Monk here on Amazon now for $14.99.

As noted, the HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon Quest Pack was the first new-to-retail expansion since the game's return. It is available here on Amazon priced at $34.80 (23% off). HeroQuest was a popular line of dungeon-crawling board games released in the 1980s. The game's core game system allowed a dungeon master to build their own dungeon, challenging players as they descended into a castle or dungeon to complete various quests. The quests were often part of an overarching story, and players could use the items they gained in quests on future expeditions. Hasbro stopped producing expansions for HeroQuest in 1992, although a video game based the board game came out in 1994. In September 2020, Hasbro obtained the trademark for HeroQuest (which was also used for an unrelated tabletop RPG) from Chaosium, paving the way for the game's official re-launch.

Fans of classic LEGO sets will surely be excited to get their hands on the LEGO Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square, which is an updated version of The 10193 LEGO Castle Medieval Market Village released in 2009. LEGO notes that it surpasses the original with "updated architecture, intricate detail and advanced construction techniques"

The set is a sizable one at 3,304 pieces. When complete, you'll have two main structures with detailed interiors that include a tavern, cheese factory, shield-painting workshop, guard tower, woodworking shop, and weaving workshop. Functional features include a crane and a small water mill. The display also adds a tree and vendor stall to round things out.

As far as minifigures are concerned, there are 8 in total, with There are also and various animals, including the iconic LEGO goat in grey..

The LEGO Icons Medieval Town Square will be available in early access for LEGO Insiders (free to join) on February 29th / March 1st at 9pm PT / 12am ET right here at the LEGO Shop priced at $229.99. It will be open to everyone at the same time and in the same place on March 4th. To complement the set, you might wan to pick up the the Lion Knights' Castle as well.

On a related note, the Star Wars partnership between LEGO and Lucasfilm celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024, so expect to see a lot of special new products come down the pipeline this year (the first five sets have already been revealed). One of them is the first update to the Star Wars Visual Dictionary since 2019, which will include new information about the sets released over the years along with an exclusive minifigure that has yet to be revealed. The LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary Updated Edition is currently available to pre-order here on Amazon for $22.49, which is 10% off the list price. It is set to arrive on April 2nd.

Way back in August of last year, Funko revealed that a Pop figure based on Charlie Cox's reintroduction into the MCU as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil was on the way. You would be forgiven if you completely forgot about it in the seven months since the announcement, but the good news that it wasn't cancelled. It will launch as an exclusive starting today, February 28th at 9:30am PT / 12:30pm ET right here at the Funko Shop. Quantities are expected to be low, so a quick sellout is likely.

The season finale of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law "Whose Show Is This?" is now streaming on Disney+, and fans are calling it the best finale of any MCU show. We finally got our first actual She-Hulk Funko Pop figure last week, but now it makes sense why Funko and Marvel took so long to deliver. They were saving the She-Hulk Funko Pop motherlode for last. Given the events of episode 2, it's no surprise that the villain Emil Blonsky / Abomination (Tim Roth) was the Funko Pop release for the episode. Hasbro's Marvel Legends figure looks especially fantastic with a spot-on head sculpt. If only they included an alternate angry head - it would have been perfect. The Disney She-Hulk figure is actually a 12-inch doll, so you have that option as well. There's a She-Hulk for everyone.

"I think people receive Jen very differently when she's She-Hulk than they do Jen Walters," Maslany told ComicBook about the star attorney's transformation into a green-skinned superhero. "And that's something that Jen, I think feeds off of in a way that she does get, you know, a little hit of confidence. It's fun to be looked at like that. But then at the same time, I feel like she also has a fraudulent sort of feeling around it. Or she doesn't totally feel like she can own that and that people might not be looking at her, but looking at just She-Hulk."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is streaming on Disney+ now. The show has been a hit with critics and fans, including our own Jenna Anderson who writes:

LEGO will release numerous Disney products on March 1st, but the highlights of the wave are definitely the Snow White and Lilo & Stitch sets. The former is a 2228-piece set for adults that's inspired by the cottage in the Disney animated film Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. The latter is a 730-piece set that allows kids and adults to build their own adorable Stitch brick buddy.

We'll start with the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cottage set (43242), which will recreate the forest cottage from the movie. Naturally, it will be packed with details for fans. The cottage will feature sleeping, dining, kitchen and music areas, a removable roof for easy access, and minifigures of Snow White, the Evil Queen in Disguise, the Prince, Doc, Dopey, Bashful, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy, plus 6 LEGO Disney animal figures.

One of the big highlights of the display will be a buildable wishing well and forest scene with a glass casket for Snow White. There's also a light brick that will add a little warmth to the kitchen hearth, as well seven beds in the bedroom, a pipe organ, baking table, sink and cupboards.

The LEGO x Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cottage set (43242) will be available to LEGO Insiders first starting on February 29th / March 1st 2024 at 9pm PT / 12am ET right here at the LEGO Shop priced at $219.99. It will be available to the general public at the same time and at the same place on March 4th. Note that the head and ears can be posed and the cone and flower can be easily removed to customize your display. Disney Exec on Live-Action Snow White Movie

Back when the live-action Snow White remake was revealed to be happening, Sean Bailey, Walt Disney Pictures President of Production, dropped some insider knowledge on the upcoming movie.

"We were given an incredible opportunity to discover what we wanted to be as a live-action team. We were given a lot of latitude to think about what that was," Bailey said. "We thought if Iron Man and Thor and Captain America are Marvel superheroes, then maybe Alice, Cinderella, Mowgli, and Belle are our superheroes, and Cruella and Maleficent are our supervillains. Maybe if there's a way to reconnect with that affinity for what those characters mean to people in a way that gets the best talent and uses the best technology, that could become something really exciting. It feels very Disney, playing to the competitive advantages of this label."

"Rachel's extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her gifts," Webb previously said of Zegler's casting. "Her strength, intelligence and optimism will become an integral part of rediscovering the joy in this classic Disney fairytale."

Rachel Zegler leads Disney's Snow White alongside the Wonder Woman and Red Notice star Gal Gadot, who will play the Evil Queen. Webb helms the movie from a screenplay by Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Barbie) and Erin Cressida Wilson (Chloe, The Girl on the Train).

Snow White is expected to hit theaters on March 21, 2025.

The X-Men '97 animated series is finally on the way, and there are plenty of action figures out there to get fans hyped. However, if you want to go even further into the '90s nostalgia, Arcade1Up has you covered with the Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 X-Men '97 Edition cabinet. When Does X-Men '97 Premiere?

The X-Men '97 series premieres on Disney+ on March 20th. X-Men '97 features the voices of original X-Men: The Animated Series cast members Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Alison Sealy-Smith, Chris Potter, Catherine Disher, Adrian Hough, Alyson Court, and Christopher Britton. The X-Men team includes Wolverine (Dodd), Storm (Smith), Rogue (Zann), Beast (Buza), Cyclops (Ray Chase), Jean Grey (Jennifer Hale), Jubilee (Holly Chou), Bishop, and Morph.

"This is the first X-Men title produced by Marvel Studios," Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, said when announcing X-Men '97. "What an amazing first step to reintroduce audiences to the X-Men with a look at one of the most pinnacle eras of the X-Men comics, which was the '90s."

Added Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, VP of Animation at Marvel Studios, "As an animated show, the original X-Men was the forerunner to some amazing action series. Hasbro has opened up pre-orders for the Transformers Generations Selects Legacy United Autobots Stand United 5-Pack, which includes 5.5-inch figures of Autobot Jazz, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker, Wheeljack, and Autobot Hound as they appeared in the original G1 animated series. Each figure transforms from robot to vehicle mode (pictured below) and features articulated heads, arms, and legs. The set also includes 8 blaster accessories.

This will likely be a popular set, if only for the G1 Hound, so you'll want to get your pre-order in here at Entertainment Earth quickly, It's priced at $109.99 with free US shipping. It will arrive on your doorstep this July, and you won't be charged until it ships.

What is Pokemon Day?

February 27th, 1996 was the day Pokemon Red and Green first released on the original Game Boy in Japan. That marked the official start of the franchise, and The Pokemon Company celebrates Pokemon Day as part of a yearly event. At this time, the lighting of the Empire State Building is the only announced event for Pokemon Day 2024, but we should expect to hear more over the next two weeks. Typically, The Pokemon Company releases a Pokemon Presents livestream on Pokemon Day, or in the days leading up to it. This is where The Pokemon Company typically makes new game announcements, while also providing updates on existing titles like Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Go, and Pokemon Masters EX. J.R.R. Tolkien fans are about to experience The Hobbit in a new way thanks to a graphic novel release that features art by David Wenzel paired with a story that has been "carefully abridged from Tolkien's classic novel". The 144 page paperback book will collect the the three-issue series originally published by Eclipse Comics, which has been updated with new artwork.

Resurrecting Billy Butcherson

Doug Jones spoke with Collider in 2022 about Billy Butcherson's return for Hocus Pocus 2 The actor revealed that he has always thought Billy deserved more story, and that he's long hoped to bring the character back for another film.

"I've been asked, in many interviews over the years, and I've been acting for 36 years now, is there any one character I've played that I would love to revisit again? And Billy Butcherson was always my number one answer," Jones said. "There were more layers to him and I wanted more backstory. When you've had a career like mine, and you're glued into so much rubber and glue, and contact lenses and mechanics, and you can't go to the bathroom with your hand claws on, I don't always look forward to going into work because I know the day I have ahead of me. But Billy was a character that was human-ish, with humor, goofiness, fun, and a family friendly vibe, who was headed toward a happy ending. All of that made going into work a joy. I thought, 'I wanna do that again.'"

"When that call came, I was excited to get to do all of that again. I got to reunite with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, which was so dreamy," Jones continued. "The difference between 30 years, working with them, is that I was starstruck the first time. I was such a huge fan of Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, who had done The Kathy & Mo Show and Sister Act, at that time. They were all huge, in my world. I was just like, 'I can't believe I'm on the same set with these people. Oh, my gosh!' Coming back, you never lose your starstruck-ness, really, or I don't. I was still like, 'Oh, my gosh, there they are again.' But now, with the 30 years that have passed, my career has gone places, and thankfully, I've been very blessed with what's happened in my life, that they were treating me, and we were interacting more as peers. That was a big difference that I noticed, and was very happy about. We're all 30 years older, and have matured and come through a lot of life in that time, so there was a lot to chat about on set. It was really quite lovely."

Hocus Pocus Sequels

It took nearly 30 years, but Hocus Pocus did eventually spawn a sequel. 2022's Hocus Pocus 2 saw the return of Midler, Parker, Najimy, and Doug Jones, with the characters once again descending on the town of Salem. The film was released exclusively on Disney+ and quickly became the biggest original movie in the streamer's history.

Given the success of Hocus Pocus 2, it should come as no surprise that a third film is in the works at Disney. Hocus Pocus 3 will be bringing back the director and one of the writers from the hit sequel, with both Anne Fletcher and Jen D'Angelo reportedly returning for the next film.

As of right now, there has been no word as to which characters could appear in Hocus Pocus 3. The Sanderson Sisters are the cornerstone of the franchise, and Hocus Pocus 2 ended up establishing a new trio of main characters. There are also the teens from the original film that didn't make an appearance in the sequel, but could turn up for the third film.

Fallout has been a prominent part of the video game world, introducing a fully-realized world to players for decades. The Fallout franchise is gearing up for its highly-anticipated television adaptation -- and apparently, that will include an epic line of new collectibles. On Friday, McFarlane Toys announced that they will be partnering with Amazon MGM Studios and Bethesda on a new line of Fallout collectibles. The Fallout line will be based on the upcoming live-action television series, which is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Prime Video in April of this year.

What Is the Fallout TV Show About?

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there's almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind -- and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.

The Fallout series will star Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Mois?s Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones. The series comes from Kilter Films and executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Nolan directed the first three episodes. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, writers, and co-showrunners. Athena Wickham of Kilter Films also executive produces, along with Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Is the Fallout TV Show Canon?

In the lead-up to the premiere of the Fallout television series, the series' cast and crew have confirmed that it is canonical to the universe of the video games. Some have even gone so far as to label it as the fifth flagship installment of Fallout, instead of a live-action adaptation of any of the saga's existing story.

"We didn't start from a place of characters from the games. We set things after," co-showrunner Graham Wagner explained in a roundtable interview late last year. "We kind of told ourselves, 'This is Fallout 5, this is just another installation, and we're starting with fresh snow.' But as things go on, things go on. So yeah, again, I am really desperate not to spoil stuff, leave it at that I guess."

Fallout is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, April 12th.

With Pokemon Day 2024 just around the corner on February 27th, fans need to prepare to catch all of the things, especially when it comes to a unique auction that's happening on eBay. Starting at 12:01 am EST on February 27 and running until 12:01am EST on February 28 you'll be able to bid on 151 rare Pok?mon TCG cards and special collaboration items, including the Base Set First Edition, the controversial "Pikachu with Gray Felt Hat" card, and collab items like a Fendi x FRGMNT x Pok?mon Peekaboo ISeeU Petite bag. What's more, the bidding on all items will start at just $1.51.

Note that the cards for eBay's "Catch 151" auction will be supplied by leading eBay sellers like TCA Gaming, TheTCGenius and, ZandGEmporium, and each will be backed by eBay Authenticity Guarantee. The complete list of items that will be up for grabs hasn't been released, but some highlights are outlined below.

If you're game to get in on the Pokemon Catch 151 bidding war, be ready and waiting at this eBay page on the launch date. Of course, the bidding may start at $1.51, but with eBay being one of the biggest destinations for Pokemon collectors, expect some seriously expensive competition. For example, the most expensive Pokemon item sold on eBay in 2023 was the PSA 10 GEM MINT Charizard Base Set 1st Edition Shadowless Pok?mon Card 4/102 ZM1 in November 2023 priced at $217,500.

When Is Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Coming Out?

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been announced to be in the works, but has yet to announce a concrete release date or window as of the time of this writing. The anime will be kicking off with the Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami's original manga series, which continues the stretch of wild fights with even wilder powers seen in Season 2. If you wanted to catch up with Jujutsu Kaisen now that Season 3 is on the way, you can find the first two seasons of the TV anime and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie streaming with Crunchyroll.

They tease the anime as such, "Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses... and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back."

As expected following the success of the Jason Kelce Pop figure, Funko is continuing their experiments with limited time promotions inspired by pop culture phenomenon. McFarlane Toys was founded in 1994 with a mission to deliver the action figures that comic book creator Todd McFarlane wanted to see for his characters. Since then, the company has acquired licenses for huge brands like DC Comics, Disney, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Demon Slayer, Mortal Kombat and more. Of course, it all started with Spawn, so it's fitting that McFarlane Toys kicks off its 30th anniversary celebrations with a special wave of figures based on his iconic hellspawn. UPDATE 2: The figures have sold out at Entertainment Earth, but they have not gone live on Amazon at the time of this update (listed as "currently unavailable"). That could change at any moment. "I've been with Spawn now for over 30 years. I know that seems like a long time," McFarlane explained in our interview, which you can check out here. "I've been with my wife for 45 years, and I think I still got another 40 with her, so I don't know. When you enjoy doing what it is you're doing, it's not work, it's easy. And I've said before, I need it in my life because I deal with so much other stuff, especially on the toy side where I deal with corporations and getting people's approvals and getting people to sign off. I need my little creative paradise that is all mine, that I can just wake up, come up with whatever is in my head and do it, and not need anybody's approval. It's my chicken noodle for my soul. I know people go 'Todd, how do you do it for so long?' I think I'd be half crazy if I didn't have it, in all honesty."

Is Spawn Getting a Movie Reboot?

Another facet of the Spawn franchise that fans have been excitedly following is the long-awaited Spawn movie reboot. Spawn will follow the journey of Al Simmons (portrayed by Jamie Foxx), a man who makes a deal with the devil and is reborn as a Hellspawn-turned-vigilante. The new Spawn movie has been in the works since early 2015, with McFarlane initially planning to write and direct it himself. In the years that have followed, Brian Tucker, Scott Silver, Malcolm Spellman, and Matthew Mixon have all been brought on to rewrite the script. Blumhouse's Jason Blum has previously told ComicBook.com that the film is targeting a 2025 release date.

"It's in very very active development," Blum explained in an interview last year. "What needs to happen is that my fellow friends the writers and the studios need to figure out their differences and get back to writing, but we've got a great group of folks putting it together, and my hope is that that movie -- my prediction is maybe we'll actually see a Spawn movie in '25. No promises, but that's my prediction."

It looks like seasonal fashion collections for Studio Ghibli fans is now a thing. What Is The Boy and The Heron?

Speaking of Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki is celebrating what might be a career high point with The Boy and The Heron. Releasing across theaters last year, Hayao Miyazaki handled the writing and directing duties (his first new feature in ten years) for The Boy and The Heron along with Takeshi Honda serving as animation director, Toshio Suzuki as producer, and Joe Hisaishi composing the music. The English voice cast for the movie includes Christian Bale, Dave Bautista, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Karen Fukuhara, Mark Hamill, Robert Pattinson, Florence Pugh, Luca Padovan, Mamoudou Athie, Tony Revolori, and Dan Stevens.

The Japanese voice cast includes Soma Santoki, Masaki Suda, Aimyon, Yoshino Kimura, Takuya Kimura, Shohei Hino, Ko Shibasaki, Kaoru Kobayashi and more. Studio Ghibli and GKIDS tease The Boy and The Heron as such, "A young boy named Mahito yearning for his mother ventures into a world shared by the living and the dead. There, death comes to an end, and life finds a new beginning. A semi-autobiographical fantasy about life, death, and creation, in tribute to friendship, from the mind of Hayao Miyazaki."

The Pokemon Company recently released the Scarlet & Violet-Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box with its highly anticipated Shiny Pokemon cards. The new set features over 240 cards, with over 100 Shiny Pokemon. The Palldean Fates set is based on a Japanese set called Pokemon TCG: Shiny Treasure EX, and will feature many of the same cards translated in English along with several Japanese promo cards and cards cut from the Paradox Rift set. In addition to Shiny Pokemon such as Pikachu, Tinkaton, Ceruledge, Dondozo, and more, Great Tusk and Iron Treads appear as Ancient and Future Pok?mon ex, and Charizard, Forretress, and Espathra will appear Shiny Tera Pok?mon ex. The official description also notes that the set will include a handful of full-art Supporter cards and 6 Hyper Rare cards.

As the card set is a "special" Pokemon TCG set, individual booster packs will not be sold. Instead, fans will need to purchase boxed products such the booster bundle, which is currently available here at Walmart and is expected to be available here on Amazon soon. Similar release patterns were also followed for the Hidden Fates and Shining Fates sets, which also featured Shiny Pokemon cards. Special sets, such as this year's Scarlet & Violet -151 set, tend to be more expensive to collect due to the higher cost of obtaining booster packs.

Hasbro's first Marvel Legends fanstream for 2024 included only one pre-order reveal, though it is a Build-A-Figure wave with seven action figures. Six out of those seven figures will include pieces that can be combined to form Zabu, the saber-toothed tiger of the Savage Land.

The figures in the Zabu wave include Red Widow, Ikaris, Black Winter (Thor), Superior Iron Man (no BAF piece), Wolfsbane, Cable, and Ka-zar. In addition to the BAF pieces, the figures will include accessories like alternate hands, weapons, and, in the case of Superior Iron Man, an alternate masked head. Pre-orders for this entire wave will be available starting today Thursday, February 22nd at 10am ET / 1pm ET right here at Entertainment Earth (free US shipping on orders $79). During the Marvel Legends fanstream, Hasbro also noted that Marvel Legends figures inspired by the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman would be available "later this year", so expect to see them at some point shortly before the July 26th debut of the film in theaters. What is Deadpool & Wolverine about?

A synopsis for Deadpool & Wolverine made its way online back in January. It's pretty short, and of course, hasn't been confirmed by Marvel Studios. The synopsis reads, "That fu***** irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?"

"Deadpool, for me, is kind of like an anxiety-inducing tightrope walk," Reynolds told ComicBook.com in an interview last year. "I always think when I've got Deadpool just right, I'm speaking from experience from Deadpool 1 & 2, that I need to make it 30 to 40% percent better than it already it is. Even if I'm at the moment where I'm like, 'This is perfect, this moment!' Then, I stop and I go, 'Okay, this has to be 30% better than it already is.' It's a stressful thing to get right, or at least right as far as I'm concerned."

The third entry in the Deadpool trilogy reunites director Shawn Levy with Ryan Reynolds (Free Guy, The Adam Project) and Hugh Jackman (Real Steel). It's also a reunion for Jackman and Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige, whose first producing credit was 2000's X-Men. Reynolds co-wrote the script with Deadpool and Deadpool 2 writers Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells (The Marvels, Robot Chicken) & Levy.

Alongside Reynolds and Jackman, the cast includes returning Deadpool stars Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapi?i? as Colossus of the X-Men, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Rob Delaney as the unpowered Peter. Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) also star.

Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theaters on July 26th.

Crocs and Pixar have teamed up once again, this time for a collaboration inspired by the iconic Toy Story film franchise. The collection includes Sherrif Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Pizza Planet clogs in adult, kids, and toddler sizes complete with character-inspired Jibbitz charms.

Not surprisingly, the Pizza Planet design appears to be the most popular of the wave, as it was sold out in sizes for both men and women shortly after launch. Elden Ring developer FromSoftware has finally announced a release date and a trailer for the long-awaited Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and June 21st can't come fast enough for fans. In fact, this expansion is so highly anticipated that a fancy Collector's Edition was developed for it that will likely sell out quickly despite its $249.99 price tag.

Details about the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's Collector's Edition are available below, but you'll probably want to jump right in to try and snag a copy. At the time of writing, pre-orders are live here at the Bandai Namco store (exclusive) for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Steam editions. If you fail to get your hands on one, you will be able to pre-order the basic expansion and deluxe editions right here on Amazon.

The crown jewel of the Erdtree Collector's edition is a Messmer The Impaler statue that stands 18-inches tall. It also comes with a 40-page hardcover art book, deluxe packaging, and codes to download the expansion and the official soundtrack. All editions of Shadow of the Erdtree with include the Ring of Miquella as an in-game bonus gesture.

FromSoftware had the following to say about the DLC :

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is scheduled to release for all available platforms on June 21st.

The 1994 film The Crow starring Brandon Lee is on the verge of getting a reboot, but the fandom for the original is still going strong. The Crow was based on a 1989 graphic novel by James O'Barr. Eric Draven was originally portrayed by Brandon Lee, the son of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee, who tragically lost his life in an on-set accident just days before filming on The Crow was expected to wrap. Though his promising career ended before it truly began, Brandon Lee's legacy is a film that has developed a devoted following over the years. That, combined with the recentl popularity of superhero films and reboots, has made The Crow an attractive project that has had a number of names attached to it over the last 15 years or so. However, a reboot is finally on the way.

What Is The Release Date For The Crow Reboot?

Bill Skarsg?rd landed the role for the reboot, and while the film has already wrapped production, audiences have yet to catch a glimpse of the new take on the material. Whatever's in store for audiences, producer Sam Pressman says the upcoming project will "blow people away," while also teasing that this new chapter in the franchise could merely be the start of a sprawling franchise that can extend into a variety of other mediums.

"The Crow has been a very central and integral part of our company and I'm really proud of the progress and the work that has been done," Pressman shared with Deadline. "I think the movie is just going to blow people away. Our partners want to approach it in a very 360 way, whether it be video games, an animated series, or a universe, but it's got this cosmic legacy that can expand beyond a singular story."

He added, "We're finally at a point where we can really explore those other avenues because it's such a unique property in that it is not a studio film, it's not a Marvel film -- it's kind of an anti-Marvel film. I have the highest hopes for that and I really love what Molly Hassell has done in pushing it up the hill and Rupert Sanders is such a visionary."

While The Crow is expected sometime this year, it doesn't yet have a confirmed release date. We expect that will change soon. Keep tabs on ComicBook.com for updates.

Batman: Year One from writer Frank Miller and illustrator David Mazzucchelli is widely regarded as one of the best and most influential Batman stories of all-time. It reimagines Bruce Wayne's first year on the job as Batman in Gotham, depicting a man that is far from the iconic crime-fighter that he would eventually become. It's a story that every comic book fan should read, and one that is certainly worthy of a super fancy deluxe edition that Batman fans can cherish for years to come.

David Mazzucchelli's Batman Year One Artist's Edition is a hardcover edition collects Batman #404-407 (1986) and presents them in the same 14 x 21 inch size as most of the pages were originally drawn. It also features a new introduction by Mazzucchelli along with the complete collection of layouts, giving readers "true insight into a master storytellers process from initial spark to completed page".

Hasbro has been rummaging through their 2019 offerings for Marvel Legends reissues, starting with two Deadpool figures last week. Today they've added the X-Men Colossus & Juggernaut 2-Pack, which was released as part of the Marvel Comics 80th anniversary celebration. Currently it fetches prices of $125 or higher from third parties, but you can ignore all that and get one for your collection at the current retail price during this limited relaunch window.

Who Is Voicing the X-Men in X-Men '97?

X-Men '97 features the voices of original X-Men: The Animated Series cast members Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Alison Sealy-Smith, Chris Potter, Catherine Disher, Adrian Hough, Alyson Court, and Christopher Britton. The X-Men team includes Wolverine (Dodd), Storm (Smith), Rogue (Zann), Beast (Buza), Cyclops (Ray Chase), Jean Grey (Jennifer Hale), Jubilee (Holly Chou), Bishop, and Morph.

"This is the first X-Men title produced by Marvel Studios," Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, said when announcing X-Men '97. "What an amazing first step to reintroduce audiences to the X-Men with a look at one of the most pinnacle eras of the X-Men comics, which was the '90s."

In the 3rd edition of the Betrayal at House on the Hill, you and your friends will explore a creepy old house where evil might lurk in any room. The more you explore, the higher the odds are of triggering the haunt. In the midst of the chaos that ensues, one player will turn against the rest of the party, and it will become a battle of survival. For starters, the Third Edition features updated art and unpainted miniatures, but the most interesting updates involve the gameplay. Hasbro notes:

"We've also moved away from the Haunt matrix that determined how the game would twist and change when the Haunt was rolled. Instead, players now choose a Scenario card that reflects why their characters have come to the house. When the Haunt is rolled, players will compare the Omen drawn to a chart on the back of the Scenario card to determine which Haunt will be played."

Many other changes have been made, including 50 unique and original haunts, house features with modern touches (such as spotty cell service... the horror!), a Reluctant Traitor rule, and numerous items, omens, and events original to this version of the Betrayal at House on the Hill game. What to Know About Four Knights of the Apocalypse

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will air on Netflix January 31st. For those not familiar with The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, the series began in January 2021 under creator Nakaba Suzuki. The series acts as a sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins as the new story takes place years after Meliodas marries Elizabeth and disbands his group.

As for this new series, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse tells the story of a boy named Percival as he discovers a prophecy was made concerning him. The boy is destined to become one of four knights fated to end the world. Targeted by Camelot, Percival must find the other knights of the prophecy to stop it from happening, and he does so with the help of a Liones knight named Lancelot.

If you want to brush up on The Seven Deadly Sins ahead of this sequel's launch, it is pretty easy to find! The hit series is streaming on Netflix exclusively. So for those wanting more information on The Seven Deadly Sins, you can read its official synopsis below:

"When they were accused of trying to overthrow the monarchy, the feared warriors the Seven Deadly Sins were sent into exile. Did you know that Batman Beyond is more than just a fantastic animated series? It has been adapted in comic book form several times, including a six-issue miniseries in 1999 and a 24 issue run that concluded in 2001. The Batman Beyond: The Animated Series Classics Compendium 25th Anniversary Edition collects all of these comics in a single volume for the first time. It even includes Batman's guest appearance in Superman Adventures #64 as a bonus.

Of course, you can't go and by the comic book compendium without owning the original animated series. That said, the Batman Beyond: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray box set will keep you occupied for a whopping 1092 minutes thanks to the fact that it includes 52 episodes on Blu-ray and digital, two discs of bonus content (including a remastered version of the feature-length film Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker), 15 featurettes and audio commentary from executive producer Bruce Timm on four episodes, and more. McFarlane Toys / DC Direct is set to launch 7-inch scale figures of Rebirth Batman, a classic Aquaman, and a Silver Age Hal Jordan Green Lantern that come with a McFarlane Toys Digital Collectible. What's more, they will include accessories like swappable heads for Batman and Aquaman. Fans will undoubtedly be excited to get the classic Hal Jordan and Aquaman especially, though all three figures look great.

Liquid Death may have made drinking water badass, but no amount of marketing can change the fact that water is a bit boring the flavor department. Enter Death Dust electrolyte drink mix. Now you can spice up your Liquid Death with Severed Lime, Mango Chainsaw, and Convicted Melon flavors, which are the same that can be found in their sparkling water lineup. These packets include a mix of vitamins and minerals that will help give you a healthy boost and support hydration and recovery after a workout.

Each serving of Death Dust includes vitamins C, B3, B5, B6, B12 along with 300mg of sodium, 200mg of potassium and 40mg of magnesium. Note that there are 35 calories per serving with 8g of sugar from cane sugar and dextrose along with the sodium, so these packets are not something that you'll want to slam continuously throughout the day (especially if you're idle). However, if you take a look at the nutrition facts on a bottle of Gatorade you'll appreciate what Liquid Death has done here.

Of course, one of the big questions is - how do they taste? I've never tried their sparkling water lineup, so I can't comment on how similar they are. However, I can say that the flavor of these packets was pleasant and on the medium to mild side mixed with 16 oz of water. The directions suggest mixing the packets with 16-20 oz, but the flavor might be a little too mild for some on the high end. Personally, the flavor level was just right for me as I don't enjoy beverages that are overly sweet.

Death Dust packets are available here on Amazon priced at $17.99 for a 12 pack that includes all three flavors. Are there cheaper and even healthier ways to flavor your water? Yes, absolutely. Are any of those methods cooler than Death Dust? Don't be ridiculous. Just look at the artwork on the packaging in the image above. Does your Crystal Light have that? I don't think so. The only problem is that there's no point in drinking a Liquid Death product if you're not seen drinking a Liquid Death product, so we highly suggest adding a packet to a can or, shockingly, to regular uncool water in one of Liquid Death's awesome reusable bottles.

And don't forget that a portion of Liquid Death's proceeds goes to nonprofits who are helping to fight plastic pollution and bringing clean drinking water to those in need. Liquid Death may be a marketing gimmick, but it's a fun one with a positive message. If it helps you stay hydrated and avoid sugary junk beverages than it's a gimmick well worth falling for.

Hasbro's latest Star Wars: The Vintage Collection release is a 4-pack inspired by Season 7 of The Clone Wars, and it's no coincidence that it's debuting here on ComicBook.com just days away from the Disney+ The Bad Batch Season 3 premiere on February 21st. Adventure Time: Fionna And Cake Will Return

Fionna And Cake's first season was a MAX exclusive, as the series took a decidedly darker approach to the original Adventure Time story. While not confirmed where or when the second season will debut, plenty of Adventure Time fans will be happy to hear the news of the duo's return.

In an interview with Variety last year, Fionna and Cake co-creator Adam Muto discussed the possibility of Fionna and Cake's future and the future of Adventure Time, "The future of "Fionna and Cake," and the "Adventure Time" franchise as a whole, is still in the brainstorming phase. My hope is that this series did well enough that they feel like they can invest in future seasons. What shape that takes, if that's a 'Fionna & Cake' Season 2 or it's more of an anthology kind of approach and we focus on another character, is still kind of up in the air... There's a running list of what we think could work as a series, what we think could work as a miniseries or a special."

Pokemon has released its fair share of merchandise in its history, with the anime/gaming franchise routinely being one of the biggest money-makers in both mediums. While cards, apparel, video games, and more have been hot sellers, a life-sized recreation of Psyduck has caught the eye of many Pokemon fans. To celebrate Valentine's Day, The Pokemon Company has taken the opportunity to create a unique commercial for the plushie that brings to life the hare-brained psychic pocket monster.

Psyduck has long been a part of the anime adaptation, arriving early thanks to its part as a part of Generation One. When the befuddled creature ran into Ash Ketchum and his friends, he became a part of Misty's crew, even though the former Gym leader wanted nothing to do with it. Psyduck would routinely take the opportunity to break loose of its Pokeball, much to the chagrin of Misty, and despite being a part of the anime for so long, didn't increase its power by any stretch of the imagination. Now that Misty has departed the series with Ash Ketchum to give way to Liko and Roy taking the lead of the anime, Psyduck has yet to play a prominent role though is sure to play some role in Pokemon's future.

The Pokemon Company released a hilarious new trailer for the life-sized Psyduck, which is currently available for pre-order. Specifically, the lenses are covered with red LEDs that are programed to scroll through 15 different digital sequences that mimic expressions.

As for the rebranding, the return of the Disney Store will undoubtedly delight longtime Disney fans who have fond memories of their brick-and-mortar locations. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Release Date

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is going to start hitting theaters beginning on March 29th, which is an earlier release than originally announced. Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard returns to direct the follow up with Simon Barrett writing the script. Returning MonsterVerse franchise stars confirmed for the film include Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews, Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes, and Kaylee Hottle as Jia. As for what to expect from the next major entry in the MonsterVerse, Legendary Entertainment teases the plot of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire as such:

"This latest entry in the Monsterverse franchise follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence - and our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever."

How to Watch Demon Slayer Movie 2024

Releasing across theaters in the United States and Canada on February 23rd with both Japanese and English language dubbed audio, tickets are now on sale for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-. As for what to expect from the new movie event, Aniplex and Crunchyroll tease the event as such:

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- will feature 'A Connected Bond: Daybreak and First Light' (Episode 11) from the Swordsmith Village Arc, featuring the conclusion of the fierce battle between Tanjiro and Upper Four demon Hantengu, as well as Nezuko's triumph over the sun. Seamlessly followed by Episode 1 of the highly anticipated Hashira Training Arc, featuring the start of training conducted by the Hashira in preparation for the forthcoming final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji, an episode never before seen by audiences."

Demon Slayer: What Is the Infinity Castle Arc?

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc runs from Chapter 128 through 136 of Gotoge's original manga series, and without giving too much away, the final chapter of the arc leads to a massive cliffhanger that immediately starts the Infinity Castle arc. This could make for one heck of a cliffhanger to leave fans waiting for Season 5 in the future, or it could end up sneakily happening this Spring. Rather than being an abrupt cliffhanger after weeks of training episodes, the final episodes of this season could use the start of those final battles to properly set the stage for a new season.

Importantly, there are only two more arcs before Demon Slayer ends so it's a matter of how the anime decides to tackle them. The Infinity Castle arc runs for 47 chapters as the longest arc in the manga overall, and leads to the final battle arc which is half that length. Depending on how the anime adapts this material, this easily could be another two or three seasons (or maybe even a grand finale movie).

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc will then fully premiere Season 4 some time later this Spring, but has yet to announce a concrete release date as of the time of this writing. if you are not caught up with Demon Slayer ahead of season four, don't sweat. The show is easy to find online as Crunchyroll and Hulu are streaming seasons one through three.

Needless to say, it's a good time to be a One Piece fan. The live action One Piece series recently burned it up on Netflix and the Wano Country arc wrapped after 4 years. One Piece's Plans for 2024

During Jump Festa 2023, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda teasing the anime and manga's plans for 2024, "Wano reached its emotional conclusion and now we're heading to Egghead!!..'Course that doesn't mean I'll be sittin' on my hands when it comes to the manga. So many characters went through some significant challenges this year. Their world can be a truly terrifying place. If Luffy and crew manage to make it out of Egghead safe and sound...do you think they might go to...THAT island? I mean, I thought up a route for them that doesn't involve it but...I'm not sure I could stop Luffy, even if I wanted to."
